Classic Rock 2 - London Symphony Orchestra

Interesting little one.

First released in 1978, and on various different Cd's during the late 80's early 90's.

Track 1

Eve of the war 4:07
Arranged by Anne Dudley
Conducted by Jeff Wayne (the reason why its on)

But also look at the rhythm section, some familiar WOW related names. Must have been an easy gig.

The rest of the music from the game - Martian

Each disc has its own introduction to the game.

The martian introduction reminds me of the live DVD in structure and content, and it lasts 6:14 (and contains the immortal line "The problem is of course the humans").

Once the introduction is finished, it leads into a title section which is the same as on the human section.

There are different victory (46 seconds) and defeat sequences (49 seconds).

The rest of the music from the game - Human

Each disc has its own introduction to the game.

The human disc uses Nigel Hawthorne as a general (?) who interacts with Richard Burton dialogue to set the scene for the game. Various different war of the world related music is used in the background. The introduction lasts 4:53.

There is then a title sequence based on the eve of the war introduction and lasts 1:28.

There are sequences for victory (49 seconds) and defeat (41 seconds), both using Burton and Hawthorne dialogue
